To shine the light of awareness upon and to alleviate the devastating effects, both long and short term, that brothers and sisters experience due to having a sibling battling critical illness.
1. Champion the movement through educating Parents, Families, Hospital staffs, Schools (teachers-administrators-
students), and Communities.
2. Provide programs created to address and reduce the negative impact on the well-being of healthy siblings. EAMF may not completely heal the emotional scars of pediatric illness, but can limit the size of the wound.
3. Advocate for this silently suffering population with government agencies, medical establishments, and educational institutions to insure that siblings have rights and equal access to needed treatments and programs along with funding and research.
